Coca-Cola İçecek (CCI)
Coca-Cola Brands

Anadolu Efes' soft drinks operations are managed by its 50.3% owned subsidiary Coca-Cola İçecek A.Ş. (CCI). CCI is a leading bottler and distributor of carbonated and non-carbonated beverages operating in a geography comprising Turkey, Central Asia and the Middle East.

CCI, which is the among the largest Coca-Cola bottlers worldwide as of end of 2006, operates with 12 bottling plants in 7 countries with a total annual production capacity of 573 million unit cases.

CCI and its 87.6% owned subsidiary Efes Invest, which operated as two different companies until December 2006, merged under CCI as of end of December and formed a single company that operates in Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Jordan, Turkmenistan and Iraq which has expanded its operations to include Syria and Tajikistan at the beginning of 2007.

The historical economic growth in CCI's operating markets, which is expected to continue, and consequently the increasing disposable income level, combined with the below average per capita consumption of carbonated soft drinks as well as the high ratio of young population in total population, points out to a significant potential for future growth in CCI's operating markets.

Our Turkey and international Coca-Cola operations have achieved a CAGR growth of 17% on a combined basis since 1994 and consequently took its place among the fastest growing Coca-Cola operations.

The total soft drinks sales volumes of our company; when calculated for 2005 and 2006 by fully consolidating Efes Invest sales volumes into CCI's results, represent a 17% growth in 2006 over previous year and 13% growth on an organic basis excluding the sales of the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Jordan, which was acquired in December 2005. In 2006, 81% of our company's sales volume was realized by Turkey operations and 19% consists of sales in international markets.
