Coca-Cola İçecek A.Ş (CCI) is the largest bottler and distributor by volume of non-alcoholic commercial beverages in Turkey.

CCI, operating with six bottling plants (Çorlu, Ankara, İzmir, Bursa, Mersin, Sakarya) and a total of 472 million unit cases of capacity, is the largest bottler and distributer of non-alcoholic beverages by volume in Turkey, the largest market of our Company's soft drinks operations.

CCI's wide product portfolio consists of two main categories; carbonated and non-carbonated beverages. As part of its carbonated soft drinks portfolio in addition to the top selling brands "Coca- Cola" and "Fanta", CCI produces "Coca-Cola light", "Sprite", "Schweppes" and "Sen-Sun". CCI is the market leader in the carbonated soft drinks category with a 65% market share in 2006. CCI's products in the non-carbonated soft drinks category, which are "Cappy" fruit juices, "Turkuaz" and "Damla" water brands, "Powerade" sports drink, "Burn" energy drink, "Nestea" ice tea and "Nescafé Xpress" ice coffee, have strong positions within their respective segments. CCI was the leader in fruit juice, sports drinks and ice coffee segments in 2006.

Turkish market is the 4th largest within Europe and 13th largest in the World1 in terms consumption of Coca-Cola trademarked products. However, per capita consumption levels that are still below comparable averages as well as the high ratio of young population, indicates the potential for growth of Turkish soft drinks market.

CCI has increased its production capacity by 44 million unit cases to 472 million unit cases in 2006 in order to meet the growing demand in the Turkish market. Also in 2006, in order to better meet consumer preferences, CCI launched "100% Citrus", "100% Apple & Blackberry" and "100% Orange & Grape" as the new tastes of "Cappy", the premium brand targeting middle to high income groups.

The total sales volume in Turkey, which accounts for 81% of our Company's total soft drinks sales volume, has increased 10% over previous year and reached 344 million unit cases in 2006.

CCI is the largest carbonated soft drinks system in Central Asia and has expanded its operating territories to include Middle East in 2005, operating internationally with five bottling plants in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Jordan, in addition to being the largest shareholder of the Coca-Cola bottling operations in Turkmenistan. CCI is also a part of the joint venture that holds the exclusive distribution rights in Iraq with an option to become the exclusive bottler for that market.

CCI produces its main brands “Coca-Cola”, “Fanta” and “Sprite” alongside “Bonaqua” bottled water in international markets, and conducts sales and distribution of “Piko” fruit juices produced by a local company for The Coca-Cola Company in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

CCI’s international markets have high future growth potential with their demographic structure and per capita soft drinks consumption levels. The economic growth also contributes significantly to the increase of consumption in these territories. The growth in the gross domestic product in recent years results in a shift of consumer demand to premium products in addition to increasing the total consumption. In addition, in early 2007 CCI has expanded its operations to include Syria and Tajikistan.
