Packaging

We reduce material consumption through environmental-friendlier packaging practices. Therefore we provide consumers with products in perfect quality and confidence while reducing the environmental impact of their packaging.

We reduced primary material consumption amount per unit product sold with one-way packaging by 10% when compared to 2008. We saved an average of 200 ktons of glass annually through products with returnable packaging.

Our Goal:

We will reduce packaging weight per unit product and new packaging material use. We will give preference to greener packaging applications.

Packaging Management Structure:

Decision and execution processes of packaging practices are conducted as the result of mutual studies with several business units operating under Market Development and Commercial Directorate and Supply Chain Development Directorate. Suggestions regarding new packaging design ideas are created by a group of marketing and sale business units due to their impacts on marketing communication and satisfaction of consumer expectations. Technical units evaluate physical specifications and environmental impacts of packaging; whereas logistics unit reveals packaging specifications required for transportation, handling and storage of the products. Purchasing Units enable provision of determined packaging products under the most appropriate conditions and costs.
